This year, we’re incredibly proud of the meaningful steps taken to strengthen support networks across our community. Through dedicated training, new resources, and vital community spaces, we have grown together.
Here is a look at what we accomplished together:
- 14 new frontline workers in the Chaleur region received specialized training in crisis intervention following sexual assault.
- 11 local professionals completed an intensive 5-day specialization course in counselling for adult survivors of sexual violence.
- Launched our dedicated Sexual Violence Support Centre—a space built directly on the expressed needs of the Chaleur community and powered by the strength of our regional partnerships.
- Centered diverse voices by hosting and supporting community events that uplifted survivors from various backgrounds and lived experiences.
