Counselling for Adults

Confidential one-on-one counselling for survivors aged 16+. Our counsellor provides a safe space to build trust, explore the impacts of trauma, and learn healthy coping strategies. Up to 15 sessions (60 minutes each) are available.

Counselling for Non-Offending Parents or Loved-Ones

Support for non-offending parents of children who’ve experienced sexual violence, and for loved ones of adult survivors. Sessions focus on both how to support the survivor and how to care for yourself. Up to 3 sessions (60 minutes each).

We’re building a waitlist for upcoming groups designed to provide connection and healing in a supportive space.
Planned groups include:

  • Survivors (16+)
  • Non-offending parents & loved ones
  • Men

Community Navigation

Our Community Navigator provides practical, non-therapeutic support for survivors (16+). This includes:

  • Information and referrals
  • Emotional support
  • Help with forms and paperwork
  • Accompaniment to appointments, court, or meetings

Education and awareness

We offer workshops, presentations, and awareness initiatives to prevent sexual violence and promote safer, more supportive communities. Topics include consent, challenging harmful norms, and supporting survivors.

Community Development

We collaborate with local groups and service providers to build stronger, coordinated responses to sexual violence. This work strengthens networks, improves services, and creates survivor-centered, inclusive spaces based on community needs.

Professional Development

The Compass provides tailored training for professionals and organizations.
Topics include:

  • Responding to disclosures
  • Understanding trauma
  • Preventing secondary wounding

These evidence-informed sessions give practical tools to better support survivors and create safer workplaces.
